Missing or N/A fields stay unknown. They are never converted into a match. Partial Fit means a required field was not reported — not that the site secretly works.

Rankings use the CampFit fit engine: fit quality, confirmed compatible site count, then straight-line distance when a location is provided, then preference match and data completeness. There is no sponsored ranking. Distance is never shown as driving time.

When a verified Recreation.gov camping URL exists in RIDB, CampFit can hand you off to check availability there. CampFit does not know open dates, remaining sites, or prices, and it never invents booking URLs.

Underlying attributes come from RIDB federal recreation data. CampFit is an independent campsite compatibility tool and is not operated by Recreation.gov or a federal agency.
